*AVAILABLE NOW* [RELEASE DATE: January 10, 2025] Nail It! (the band’s 3rd release) features 16 electric and robust performances with 7 original songs, including tributes to 3 of the bands favourites: Kim Wilson, Tiny Bradshaw, and Memphis Slim.
The album features new takes on jump blues rhythms, lots of swingin’ guitar, piano, organ, and sax solos, and some more rocking material, blended together in the RBB cauldron. This is some entertaining & killer-diller material!
Produced by the band and recorded at Sean’s Lo-Speed Studio with vintage instruments and amplifiers from the 50s & 60s, the release embodies a strong sense of dedication and fun
SPECIAL GUESTS: Darcy Phillips throughout on piano and organ, Gene Hardy (from Toronto) on bari & tenor sax, and Morgan Rennef Onda (tenor sax). A jump blues instrumental (Thumbs-Up Jump) includes local favourites Mike Mallon (harp), Annie Mallon (guitar), and Dan Dube (piano).
